EPowerSteering offers a fully adjustable electric power steering column conversion for the S30 and S130 chassis, and it really sets apart the driving feel and characteristics of the Z Car platform.

Fitment notes below:

• 1970-1973 - Needs some final test fitting, so if ordering, you will need to supply your core until further notice [As of 04.21.2026]

• 1974-1978 - Will fit just fine, you can send in your core ahead of time and save money, or you can pre-pay for the core charge and receive a credit once the core has been received.

• 1979-1983 280zx - The 280zx came with a manual steering option, but most came with power steering. For power steering vehicles, the steering rack will need to be de-powered in order to operate safely and correctly. The power steering motor will mount facing the passenger side of the dash, causing the defrost and floor vents to be deleted from the HVAC system for clearance.

Unit will come with a separate power steering ECU, all wiring needed, basic instructions, and an adjustment knob for the level of assist desired on the user end.
