We have engineered a replacement trim cap for the 280zx fuel filler neck and fuel cap, which has been discontinued from the dealer long ago.

Replaces OEM Part # 17225-P7100

This piece is commonly found rotten, cracked, and broken in several places, and when servicing the fuel filler neck in the 280zx, it often times never goes back on due to it’s age. Our 3d printed replacement was CAD modeled completely from scratch with one of our development vehicles, and will be available in multiple colors.

Fitment Notes: These are technically a one time use part from the factory, featuring quick install clips that will break upon removal. Rather than copy the exact OEM design, we opted to supply 2 countersunk mounting holes and hardware, so it can be properly secured to your vehicle. Our development vehicle already had this implemented into the factory piece, so we worked based off of that. Drill 2 small holes, and install your new fuel cap trim piece.

We are currently exploring the idea of offering this in cerakoted color options as well, so that you are not necessarily locked down to a filament color.

These are 3d printed with PETG, which offers great strength, and a minor degree of flexibility to keep the part from being brittle. The filaments are moisture controlled, and our printer is fully enclosed to ensure the same standard of quality with each printed part.
