We are now offering the driveshaft for sale a la carte for the DIY weekend warrior completing this swap on their own. We offer both steel and aluminum to cover all ends of the budget spectrum.
(Note for G37x customers) - Due to the design nature of the G37x drivetrain, we have implemented a slip yoke in the center of the driveshaft, however this is only available in steel, and will not be made available in aluminum.
(Note for all G37 and Q50 RWD Customers) - We have identified in some cases, a severe driveline vibration issue with certain year model G37/Q50 RWD customers. We have not been able to fully identify where the issue lies, as there seems to be some minor changes across different year models. Some customers report a driveline vibration due to excessive operating angles, and other customers report 100% smooth operation.
If purchasing a 1 piece driveshaft, you will be responsible for measuring, and adjusting your driveline angle accordingly. We cannot help you with this, so this will be a DIY solution, or seek a professional installer who is familiar with adjusting driveline angles.
If you do not want to risk the potential for a vibration, we offer a 2-piece driveshaft, with the correct bearing and flange for the differential that will operate 100% smoothly like OEM.
